We're Back

My mom always said "You'll understand once you have your own kids". It certainly has a way of putting things into perspective.
In the fall of 2020 my parents approached Crysta and I with the opportunity to move back to the farm that I grew up on. I had been working from home for a year due to COVID and my boss was gracious enough to help make it work. So in the summer of 2021 we sold our house in Kalamazoo, MI and moved back to Medina, OH.
Our time in Kalamazoo taught us some things. Raising kids without a local family support system is very hard (especially during a pandemic). We are NOT subdivision people. And the childhood I was blessed with was much more rare than I thought. So we moved back, hoping our kids would have the opportunity to grow up wild in the woods, climbing trees, building forts, raising animals, and deeply rooted in family. - Lucas Gsellman
